The seven year itch has struck again, this time resulting in the divorce of Heidi Klum and Seal. The supermodel entrepreneur filed for divorce from her singer husband this week after seven years of marriage. The couple was raising four children together under the age of 7, with the oldest from Klum's previous relationship. The couple was seen as a happy Hollywood couple, so the news that they were divorcing came as a surprise.
Reportedly, Klum filed for divorce because she is fed up with Seal's anger problems. If this is true, it is likely Klum experienced this problem for some time and tried to work through it, but eventually it became an unchangeable deal breaker for her.
Many women or men may go into a marriage with red flags or misgivings because they love the person they are marrying. Ultimately, everyone has deal breakers and those red flags or bad feelings you have in your gut may be signaling you to yours. It is good to listen to intuition whether or not you have already entered into a marriage.
Deal breakers can change for a person as a marriage goes on as well. A marriage may start fine, but if one partner changes more and grows more than another, that may be a deal breaker for the relationship. Not that it was the case in this marriage, but emotional and physical abuse should always be a deal breaker.
